Tommy Hilfiger U.S.A. Inc. Announces Recall of Infant Cardigans

Tommy Hilfiger U.S.A. Inc. (Tommy Hilfiger), of New York, N.Y., is recalling about 3,800 infant cardigans. The cardigans' snaps can detach, presenting a choking hazard to infants.

The recalled fleece cardigans range in size from 3 to 24 months in colors red or navy. There are four plastic snaps on the front of the cardigans. The cardigans have long sleeves and two front pockets. High-end department stores nationwide sold the cardigans from August 1998 through October 1998 for about $36.

Consumers should stop using these cardigans immediately, and call Tommy Hilfiger Consumer Relations Department toll-free at (877) TOMMYCARES anytime to arrange for an exchange or full refund.
