The Children's Place Announces Recall of Shirts and Rompers

The Children's Place, of Secaucus, NJ, is voluntarily recalling about 120,000 boy's baseball shirts and rompers. The buttons can come off, posing small parts choking hazard to young children. The Children's Place has received three reports of buttons detaching.

The recalled baseball shirts are grey, blue, white or red with contrasting colors at the trim. They were available in boy's sizes 3 to 36 months. The shirts have four baseball-shaped buttons down the front. A tag at the neck reads in part, "The Children's Place, Made in Turkey". On the left front of the shirt there is an embroidered baseball surrounded by the words, "Baseball Place USA". "Place" and the number "9" are embroidered on the back of the shirt.
