Hazard: The rechargeable batteries can overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers.
Description: The recall involves the rechargeable batteries with the model number CB0217 2.4 volt 1500 mAh NiMH. Only batteries with date code 0809 are affected by this recall. The date code can be found on the back of the battery. The batteries were sold as replacement batteries for the following phones:
