approximately 172 pounds of burrito products that may be contaminated with Listeria
monocytogenes.

burrito products were produced on Dec. 23, 2008, and sold at retail convenience
stores in Colorado. Consumers may have purchased these burrito products on Dec.
24 and 25, 2008.

Cudahy, a Cudahy, Wisc., firm, is recalling approximately 3,590 pounds of bacon
bit products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

following products are subject to recall:

bacon bit products were produced on Nov. 13, 2008, and distributed to restaurant
and institutional establishments in California, Colorado, Florida, South Dakota,
Texas and Wisconsin.

Domega International Ltd., Inc Issues A Recall for "Guangdayuan Brand Dried Sweet Potato"
DOMEGA INTERNATIONAL LTD., INC., of 98 Bay 35th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11214 is recalling “Guangdayuan Brand Dried Sweet Potato" because it contains undeclared sulfites.
The recalled "Guangdayuan Brand Dried Sweet Potato" is sold in an un-coded, clear 200 gram vacuum packed plastic bag and is a product of China. The product was sold nationwide.
Consumers who have Purchased "Guangdayuan Brand Dried Sweet Potato", should return them to the place of purchase.

Triple B Corporation dba S.T. Produce, Seattle, WA is recalling Charlie's brand yogurt parfait products listed below because they contain undeclared walnuts and almonds.
The yogurt parfait products being recalled are packaged under the Charlie's Label into 8.5 ounce, clear plastic package cups with a USE BY Date of 1-12-09 through 1-15-09 stamped on the side:
In addition, the yogurt parfaits are sold in a variety pack, 6/8.5 oz. containers, sold in a cardboard carton:
The recalled yogurt parfait was distributed in Washington and Oregon in retail stores and delis.

Café Favorites Issues a Recall of Sandwiches
Café Favorites has initiated a recall of their Whole Grain 5" Super Sub with daycode starting with 08343XXX because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The product was sold to distributors in Maryland, Florida, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. The distributors in Florida, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania did not further distribute the product. The distributor in Maryland sold product to one school in the Washington DC area, where it was served. Students and staff should dispose of these sandwiches if they took them home.

King Nut Issues Peanut Butter Recall
King Nut Companies, a distributor of peanut butter manufactured for them by Peanut Corporation of America, announced a recall of peanut butter distributed under the King Nut label. No other King Nut products are included in this recall.
King Nut took this action as soon as it was informed that salmonella had been found in an open five-pound tub of King Nut peanut butter. King Nut distributes peanut butter only through food service accounts. It is not sold directly to consumers. King Nut does not supply any of the ingredients for the peanut butter distributed under its label.
Customers are asked to take all King Nut peanut butter and Parnell’s Pride peanut butter distributed by King Nut out of distribution immediately. For more information, go to www.kingnut.com.

Peanut Corporation of America Announces Nationwide Recall of Peanut Butter
Peanut Corporation of America (PCA), a peanut processing company and maker of peanut butter for bulk distribution to institutions, food service industries, and private label food companies, is recalling peanut butter produced in its Blakely, Georgia processing facility because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
All product affected was produced on or after July 1, 2008, specific to the lot numbers and descriptions listed below.
The peanut butter being recalled is sold by PCA in bulk packaging to distributors for institutional and food service industry use. It is also sold under the brand name Parnell’s Pride to those same industries. Additionally, it is sold by the King Nut Company under the label King Nut. PCA customers who received the recalled product are being notified by telephone and in writing.
None of the peanut butter being recalled is sold directly to consumers through retail stores.
The recall of 21 lots of its peanut butter, in containers ranging from five to 50 pounds, is being taken immediately. PCA is notifying its institutional customers and has set up a toll-free hotline number 1-877-564-7080 to answer questions.
Customers are asked to take all peanut butter manufactured with the lot numbers listed below out of distribution immediately. Customers can call the following toll-free 24-hour number 1-877-564-7080 for further instructions on what to do with the product or visit the company website at http://www.peanutcorp.com/ for additional information.

K-Fat Inc. Issues Recall for Uneviscerated Mackerel Fish
K-Fat Inc., Brooklyn, New York 11206 is recalling "Golden Dragon Fish brand Frozen Cooked Mackerel Fish" because the product was found to be uneviscerated prior to processing.
This product may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum spores, which can cause Botulism, a serious and potentially fatal food-borne illness.
The recalled "Golden Dragon Fish brand Frozen Cooked Mackerel Fish" comes in an uncoded 250G plastic bag and basket and is a product of Vietnam. "Golden Dragon Fish brand Frozen Cooked Mackerel Fish" was sold in New York and New Jersey.
Consumers who have "Golden Dragon Fish brand Frozen Cooked Mackerel Fish" are advised not to eat it, and return it to the place of purchase.

Peanut Corporation of America Expands Nationwide Recall of Peanut Butter
Peanut Corporation of America (PCA), a peanut processing company and maker of peanut butter for bulk distribution to institutions, food service industries, and private label food companies, announced an expanded recall of peanut butter produced in its Blakely, Georgia processing facility as well as the recall of peanut paste produced in the same plant because these products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The company on January 13, 2009 previously announced the recall of 21 lots of peanut butter produced on or after July 1, 2008.
This announcement and recall affect all peanut butter produced on or after August 8, 2008 and peanut paste produced on or after September 26, 2008 at the Georgia facility. The peanut butter being recalled is sold by PCA in bulk packaging in containers ranging in size from five to 1,700 pounds. The peanut paste is sold in sizes ranging from 35 pound containers to tanker containers.
PCA is notifying customers who received the recalled product by telephone or in writing, as well as through the news media and a toll-free 24/7 hotline number. None of the peanut butter or peanut paste being recalled is sold directly by PCA to consumers through retail stores.

Hy-Vee Inc. Recalls Bakery Products With Peanut Butter Distributed in Seven States Due to Possible Health Risk
Hy-Vee Inc. is recalling the following products made in its bakery departments because they contain peanut butter that has the potential to be contaminated with salmonella: Peanut Butter Cookies, Monster Cookies, Peanut Butter Reese's Pieces Cookies, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies, Lunchbox Reese's Pieces Cookies, Lunchbox Peanut Butter Cookies, People Chow Party Mix and Assorted Truffle Fudge. All sell-by dates are included in this recall. The products are sold in various packaging and quantities and have a Hy-Vee price label attached. All items should be destroyed or returned to Hy-Vee for a full refund.
The identified items were sold in all Hy-Vee stores in Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and Minnesota.

Peanut Corporation of America Expands Nationwide Recall of Peanut Butter
Peanut Corporation of America (PCA), is expanding the recall of peanut butter and recalling peanut paste made at its Blakely, Georgia facility because the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
The recalled peanut butter and peanut paste were distributed to institutions, food service industries, and private label food companies in 24 states, the province of Saskatchewan in Canada, Korea and Haiti. The U.S. states are the following: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia. In addition, affected product was used as an ingredient in other products that may have been distributed in other states.
None of the peanut butter being recalled is sold directly to consumers through retail stores by PCA.
The recalled peanut butter in the expanded recall is sold by PCA in bulk packaging in containers ranging in size from five to 1,700 pounds. The peanut paste is sold in sizes ranging from 35-pound containers to tanker containers. The lot numbers for all recalled products are at the end of this news release. All of the peanut butter and peanut paste in the expanded recall was made on or after July 1, 2008, and only at the Georgia facility.
PCA is notifying customers that may have received the recalled product by phone and/or in writing. Customers should segregate and hold the product and call PCA at 1-877-564-7080 for further instructions.

The Lofthouse peanut butter cookies are sold in 12 count clear plastic clamshell containers while the peanut butter fudge no-bake cookies and the peanut butter no-bake cookies are sold in 9 or 12 count clear plastic clamshell containers. Trader Joe’s today issued a recall for three private label products: Peanut Butter Chewy Coated & Drizzled Granola Bars, 7.4-ounce (UPC 88713), Nutty Chocolate Chewy Coated & Drizzled Granola Bars 7.4-ounce (UPC 88721) and Sutter’s Formula Cookies, 16-ounce (SKU 00176) because the products contain peanut butter that was manufactured by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA), which is the focus of an ongoing Salmonella investigation.

These chews were sold in individual packages and as a component of the Go Figure 8 30-Day Program Set and the Figure 8 Ready, Set, Go! Vanilla product bundles. The lot number for Arbonne Figure 8 Peanut Butter Chews may be found on the lower left back panel of the bag containing the product. If consumers are unable to locate the lot number, they should contact Arbonne's Customer Service Center for assistance.
In addition to Arbonne's removal of recalled products from its inventory, Arbonne is requesting that consumers destroy recalled product. Arbonne will, at a consumer's choice, replace the product with Arbonne Figure 8 Chocolate Chews or refund the money paid for the recalled product. In order to exchange product or receive a refund, the consumer must provide the lot number of the recalled product.

Jimmy's Cookies Issues Recall of Various Peanut Butter Cookies Due to Possible Health Risk
Jimmy's Chocolate Chip Cookies, Inc. of Fair Lawn, NJ is recalling Jimmy's Cookies and One Smart Cookie Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk cookies in retail pack sizes 4 oz, 12.5 oz, and 18 oz. and cookie dough in 15 lb, 20 lb and 25 lb foodservice pack sizes with pack dates 12/4/08 - 1/14/09. These cookies were made with peanut butter purchased from Peanut Corporation of America which has been identified as a source of several salmonella outbreaks in recent weeks.
Jimmy's Cookies and One Smart Cookie brands are distributed in most eastern, southern and Midwestern states through supermarket instore bakeries, convenience stores and lunch trucks. The packaging is clear plastic, round, rectangular, or octagonal, with a label bearing the brand name.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled cookies should either destroy or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Nash Finch, the operator of stores named: SunMart Foods, Econofoods (excluding Wisconsin stores in Sturgeon Bay, Clintonville, Marquette, Holton and Iron Mountain), Prairie Market, Avanza Supermarket, Food Bonanza, Wholesale Food Outlet, Family Fresh Market, Family Thrift Center, and Pick'n Save (Ohio stores in Van Wert and Ironton only) is recalling the following products made in the bakery departments of its corporate operated stores because they contain peanut butter that was supplied by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) and has the potential to be contaminated with salmonella: Peanut Butter Cookies, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies, Mini Peanut Butter Cookies, Monster Cookies, Peanut Butter Grand Brownies, Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies, Puppy Chow snack mix, Peanut Butter Rolls, Peanut Butter Rice Crisp Bar, Special K-Bar, Scotcheroos, Rolls and Cakes Iced with Peanut Butter Cream. Weis Markets today issued a recall for two private label peanut butter sandwich crackers it sells under its Weis Quality label: Weis Quality (WQ) Cheese Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers, 11-ounce (UPC 41497-56442) and Weis Quality Toasted Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers 11-ounce (UPC 41497-56443) because the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
As a precaution, in advance of this recall, Weis Markets stores removed these two products from their shelves on Friday January 16 and issued stop scan orders for both. The two recalled products were supplied by Bremner Food Group and manufactured by the Kellogg’s Company.

Dinners Ready of Meridian, ID is recalling the Asian Marinated Flank Steak with Sesame Vegetable Stir Fry, Indonesian Chicken with Coconut Rice, and Chicken Satay & Bangkok Peanut Sauce with Jasmine Rice meals prepared from their November & December menus because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
The meals sold by Dinners Ready, Meridian, ID can be assembled on-site by the consumer or a pre-assembled meal can be selected from the firm’s cooler. Each meal is packaged in a Zip-lock baggie, with each ingredient in a separate Zip-lock baggie. The outer Zip-lock baggie contains the Dinners Ready logo and the cooking instructions. Distribution is in the Treasure Valley area of Idaho.

North Little Rock-based Brent and Sam’s announced a recall of one flavor of Sam’s Choice Cookies as a precautionary measure due to the recall expansion by Peanut Corporation of America’s Blakely, Georgia facility, which is the subject of an FDA investigation concerning the recent salmonella outbreak.
The recalled Sam’s Choice cookie item contains peanut butter supplied by Peanut Corporation of America. There are no reported illnesses associated with this cookie item, which was sold at Wal Mart stores nationwide. Included in the recall is:

Kellogg Company is issuing a recall of two varieties of ShopRite brand peanut butter sandwich crackers because they contain peanut paste produced by Peanut Corporation of America and the products have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The two recalled sandwich crackers are:
These two sandwich cracker products were manufactured for ShopRite by Kellogg Company. ShopRite has stores in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Last week, ShopRite removed these products from its store shelves after Kellogg issued a precautionary hold. In addition, any consumer who purchased the recalled product and used their Shoprite Savers Card has received notification via ShopRite’s automated system which calls and notifies shoppers impacted by a recall. While ShopRite’s calls reached nearly all of the purchasers of the impacted products, this advisory is being issued as an additional precaution for ShopRite customers.

SOPAKCO, Inc., of Mullins, South Carolina, is recalling certain Sure-Pak 12 Meals because peanut butter packages in the Meals may have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
Boca Grande Foods manufactured peanut butter with peanut paste from PCA, and supplied sealed peanut butter packages to SOPAKCO. The Sure-Pak 12 Meals with the lot numbers listed below contain 1 oz. or 2 oz. packages of peanut butter recalled by Boca Grande Foods. The recalled Sure-Pak 12 Meals were sold by SOPAKCO to distributors and costomers nationwide and several foreign countries. Some of the Sure-Pak 12 Meals were sold at stores specializing in emergency preparedness and camping gear and rations.

Peanut Corporation of America Expands Nationwide Recall of Peanut Products
Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) is recalling all peanuts and peanut products processed in its Blakely, Georgia facility since Jan. 1, 2007.
The expanded recall includes all peanuts (dry and oil roasted), granulated peanuts, peanut meal, peanut butter and peanut paste. All of the recalled peanuts and peanut products were made only at the company’s Blakely, Georgia facility; the lot numbers and a description of the products being recalled are listed at the end of this release. The Blakely, Georgia facility has stopped producing all peanut products.
PCA is notifying customers who received recalled products by phone and/or in writing. Customers should segregate and hold the product and call PCA at 1-877-564-7080 for further instructions.

Country Maid Inc, is expanding upon its recall from January, 20, 2009 of 2-pound packages of Classic Breaks Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
Due to the second expanded recall from the Peanut Corporation of America, additional lot numbers of peanut butter are now included that were used to manufacture the peanut butter cookie dough. The peanut butter used to make the cookie dough was supplied by Peanut Corporation of America and may be contaminated with Salmonella.
The recalled Classic Breaks Peanut Butter Cookie Dough was distributed in the following states through fundraising groups: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Hy-Vee Inc. recalls two bakery products with peanuts distributed in seven states due to possible health risk
Hy-Vee Inc. is recalling its freshly made party mix and peanut brittle because the products contain whole peanuts that have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella. All sell-by dates are included in this recall. The products are sold in various types of packaging and have a Hy-Vee price label attached. The items should be destroyed or returned to Hy-Vee for a full refund.
The action was taken immediately after Peanut Corporation of America (PCA) expanded its recall to include whole peanuts.
The party mix and peanut brittle are sold in Hy-Vee stores in Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and Minnesota.
Hy-Vee Bakery Manufacturing of Des Moines, Iowa, supplies many of the products sold in Hy-Vee store bakeries. In mid-January, the company recalled all freshly made products containing peanut butter including cookies, people chow and truffle fudge.

Wells' Dairy, Inc., is recalling all Blue Bunny® No Sugar Added Reduced Fat Bunny Tracks® ice cream sold at retail and foodservice levels in 1.75 qt plastic containers with All Codes displaying "Best Used By" dates prior to January 29, 2010. Best used by date is located on the bottom of the carton.
Wells' Dairy is also voluntarily recalling one lot of Blue Bunny Personals® Bunny Tracks 8 fl oz. sold at retail and foodservice levels with lot number – 80024 D19114 "Best Used By" date 09/11/09. The lot number can be found printed on the side of the carton.

Velvet Ice Cream Pulling Cone Products
Velvet Ice Cream is recalling Velvet Round Top Vanilla Cones, which are sold individually and in four-packs in grocery and convenience stores.
Velvet began asking stores to pull the novelty item from shelves Friday. Velvet launched the recall after the Peanut Corporation of America began a recall of all peanuts and peanut products processed since Jan. 1, 2007, at its Blakely, Ga., facility.
The recall was initiated by Velvet suppliers, Fieldbrook Foods of Dunkirk, N.Y., and Ice Cream Specialties of Lafayette, Ind., which manufacture the products under an agreement with Velvet. The cones are sprinkled with crushed peanuts.
Individuals who have purchased Velvet Round Top Vanilla Cones can return them to the store of purchase for a full refund.
Best Brands Corp. Expands Recall of Peanut Butter Frozen Cookie Dough
Best Brands Corp. is expanding its recall of peanut butter frozen cookie dough as a precaution because the dough contains peanut products manufactured by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA).
The peanut butter cookie dough was sold to retail and grocery store bakeries
and other foodservice outlets. Consumers may have purchased the product as
baked cookies of various sizes. Cookies may have been sold from trays in
the bakery counter or in individual packages with grocery store labels.
The name “Best Brands Corp.” would not appear on the consumer package.
The cookie dough was distributed in the following states: Alabama,
Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas,
Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota,
Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and
Wisconsin.
The following products are included in the expanded
recall:
The packages of cookie dough in the expanded recall contain lot codes between 0017-1 and 0139-1. The lot code is defined as follows: DDDY-B where DDD = Julian date, Y= year and B= batch. For example, a lot code of 0017-1 would represent the first batch produced on January 1, 2007.

Weis Markets Announces Recall of Seven Ice Cream Products Due to Possible Health Risk
Weis Markets today issued a recall for seven of its ice cream products which may be contaminated with Salmonella since they contain peanuts supplied by the Peanut Corporation of America (PCA). Two of these products were discontinued in August and September.

Lesserevil Brand Snack Co. Issues a Recall of Lesserevil Brand Peanut Butter and Choco Kettle Corn
LesserEvil announces a recall of PEANUT BUTTER AND CHOCO KETTLE CORN because the peanut butter in this product was purchased from Peanut Corporation of America (PCA). LesserEvil purchased peanut butter from PCA from some of the lot codes that were part of PCA’s expanded recall. As a result, LesserEvil is issuing a voluntary national recall of Peanut Butter and Choco Kettle Corn.
LesserEvil distributed this product nationally under the brand name “LESSEREVIL PEANUT BUTTER AND CHOCO KETTLE CORN.” In addition, LesserEvil exported this product to Japan and Canada. The UPC of the product distributed in the U.S. and in Japan is 180999000356. The UPC for the Canadian product is 180999000516. The product comes in a 3.65 oz bag in a box. All lot codes are being recalled. The recalled products should be removed from sale.
LesserEvil sells this product through distributors to grocery and specialty stores and internet sales. This product was also included in some gift baskets. If you purchased LesserEvil Peanut Butter and Choco Popcorn, please either throw away the kettle corn in a manner that prevents others from eating it or return it to the store of purchase for a full refund.

The product subject to this recall is code marked with a Julian code: 7103, 7201, 7242, 7331, 8018, 8133, 8199, 8256, and 8305 which can be found above the product name on the front panel of each individual package. This product was sold and distributed nationally to foodservice companies and sold to consumers through Sara Lee outlet stores and other foodservice establishments. Galliker Dairy Announces Recall of Rocky Road Ice Cream and Sundae Nut Cones Because of Possible Health Risk
The Galliker Dairy Co. is recalling all three-gallon containers of Galliker-brand Rocky Road ice cream and Galliker-brand Sundae Nut Cones sold to foodservice and retail outlets in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
The Rocky Road ice cream is packaged in three-gallon paperboard containers
with a paper lid. Products with code dates (lot numbers) of 008-08,
086-08, and 176-08 are being recalled. These lot numbers are printed on
the package labels that are found on the lid and sidewall of each container. No
UPC is contained on the package.
The Sundae Cones are individually
wrapped and distributed in a 24-pack paperboard box. Products with codes
dates prior to 01/29/10 are involved. These code dates are printed on the
outside of the paperboard box. No UPC is contained on either the box or the
cones package.
Any outlet that has purchased the recalled products should stop serving the ice cream and call the dairy for a full refund.

Rain Creek Baking Corporation announces an expanded voluntary withdrawal of Sinbad, Michael’s and Rain Creek Baking Company branded dessert products produced with peanut butter because the products have a potential of being contaminated with Salmonella.
The recalled products contain peanut butter manufactured by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA). Items affected by recall are listed below. Items will be marked with either an "exp" (as in expiration date), "best before" date or a lot code. The expiration date or the best before date will read either 11/01/07 through 12/31/07, 01/01/08 through 12/31/08, or 01/01/09 through 07/22/09. Lot numbers affected would be 07180 sequentially through 09022. These expiration numbers or lot numbers can be found on the bottom label next to the ingredient statement, or on the outside master case/tray.

Zachary Confections, Inc. Announces a Recall of Market Pantry Chocolate Covered Peanuts
Frankfort -based Zachary Confections, Inc. is recalling some lots of Market Pantry Chocolate Covered Peanuts as a precautionary measure due to the recall expansion of Peanut Corporation of America's Blakely, Georgia facility, which is the subject of an investigation concerning the recent salmonella outbreak.
The recalled Market Pantry item contains whole roasted peanuts supplied by Peanut Corporation of America. There are no reported illnesses associated with this candy item, which are sold at Target and SuperTarget stores nationwide. Included in the recall are:

East Side Entrees Recalls Peanut Butter & Jelly Meal Breaks Because of Possible Health Risk
East Side Entrees of Woodbury, NY, is recalling a single code date of Peanut Butter & Jelly Meal BREAKS, because a 2.2 oz. packet of peanut butter contained within has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
The Peanut Butter & Jelly Meal Breaks were distributed in California, Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Hawaii, and Pennsylvania to schools and food banks through distributors and direct delivery.
The Peanut Butter & Jelly Meal BREAKS meal kit (product number 61402) is identified as an orange and blue box with a printed banner across the upper left quarter of the front panel containing the words “Meal BREAKS”. There is a blue sticker on the front panel with the words, “peanut butter and jelly”. The code date of the affected product is Use By June 24, 09. This code date can be found on the outside of the shipping container. A code of 9175TESxxx can also be found on the bottom flap of the Meal BREAKS box. The UPC number is 006 93392 61402 5.
Customers in possession of Peanut Butter & Jelly Meal BREAKS with the affected code date should stop serving it immediately and place it on hold pending pick up or destruction and contact East Side Entrees at 516-682-5494.
Nature’s Path Announces an Expanded Recall of Peanut Butter Optimum Energy Bars Nationwide Due to Possible Health Risk
Nature’s Path Organic Foods of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada announces an expanded recall of Optimum Energy Bars Peanut Butter flavor, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
Product was distributed in the U.S. and Canada through retail stores.
Affected products as of January 30, 2009 include: Optimum Energy Bars Peanut Butter flavor BEST BEFORE 01OCT09A, BEST BEFORE 03FEB09B, and BEST BEFORE 29APR09B sold in 2 oz (56 g) individually wrapped bar with UPC code of 0 58449 77715 .
Consumers who have an Optimum Energy Bar Peanut Butter flavor with one of these expiration dates should return it to the retail store where they purchased it for a full refund.

That May Contain Foreign Materials

Quality Food Co., Ltd., doing business as Windsor Foods, a Tulsa, Okla.,
establishment, is recalling approximately 676,560 pounds of frozen chili beef
products that may contain foreign materials from an ingredient source.
The following products are subject to recall: 5-pound bags of frozen
“Whitey’s™ Chili with Beans, PREMIUM, No MSG.” Each bag bears a product
number of “48359” as well as code dates of “4918311,” “4918318,”
“4918322,” “4918325,” “4918329,” “4918336,” “4918339,”
“4918346,” “4918347,” “4918353,” “4918357,” “4919006,”
“4919008,” or “4919013” located on the back of the bag. Each bag bears
the establishment number “Est. 7163” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The
products were produced on Nov. 6, 2008, through Jan. 13, 2009, and were
distributed to food service and limited retail establishments nationwide.
