Morningland Dairy Conducting Recall of All Cheese Labeled as Morningland Dairy & Ozark Hills Farm
Morningland Dairy of Mountain View, Missouri, is recalling 68,957 pounds of cheese because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes and also has the potential to be contaminated with Staphylococcus aureus.
Morningland Dairy’s raw milk cheese is sold in the lower 48 states via mail order, retail stores, crop sharing associations, and direct delivery. The cheese is packaged in vacuum-sealed plastic packages that are sold as random weight size retail packages. The specific varieties of cheese are sold under the following brand names and flavors:
Morningland Dairy Raw Milk Cheese (from cow milk): Colby, Hot Pepper Colby, Garlic Colby, Italian Colby, Dill Colby, No-Salt Added Mild Cheddar, Mild Cheddar, Medium Sharp Cheddar, Sharp Cheddar.
Ozark Hill Farms Raw Goat Milk Cheese: Colby, Hot Pepper Colby, Italian Colby, Garlic ‘N’ Chive Colby, Mild Cheddar, Medium Sharp Cheddar, Sharp Cheddar.
The codes affected by the recall are handwritten on the front of the label, and range from A10 (representing January 1, 2010) through F250 (representing June 25, 2010).

Paleta California Co. Announces Recall of Frozen Mamey Paletas
Paleta California, Co. is recalling its 4 oz. Mamey Supreme Cream Bar (frozen fruit bars also known as "paletas") due to a potential health risk from Salmonella Typhi.
The recalled Mamey Supreme Cream Bar was distributed only in Southern California. Consumers may have purchased the recalled fruit bars through retail stores. The product retail unit comes in 4 oz. plastic wrapped frozen fruit bars. The Mamey Paletas are shipped to retail establishments in a package of 24 fruit bars per box. All production lot codes are being affected by this recall. The UPC of the recalled product is 636418002000. No other Paleta California, Co. products are affected.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled 4 oz frozen mamey fruit bars are urged to discard the product or return it to the point of purchase for a refund.

Pennsylvania Firm Recalls Ground Beef Products Due to Possible E. coli O26 Contamination
Cargill Meat Solutions Corp., a Wyalusing, Pa. establishment, is recalling approximately 8,500 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O26.The products subject to recall bears
the establishment number "EST. 9400" inside the USDA mark of
inspection. These products were produced on June 11, 2010, and were shipped to
distribution centers in Connecticut and Maryland for further distribution.

Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. Clarifies Statement on Nationwide Shell Egg Recall
Cal-Maine has recalled specific Julian dates of shell eggs purchased on May 31, 2010, from Hillandale Farms of Iowa and re-packaged by Cal-Maine’s Benton County, Arkansas, facility, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Potentially affected eggs that were received by Cal-Maine at this facility total approximately 24,000 dozen. The affected eggs were distributed to food wholesalers and retailers in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Cal-Maine’s Benton County, Arkansas, facility received these eggs from Hillandale Farms of Iowa, which were then re packaged into large loose 5, 15 and 30 dozen units. QUESO FRESCO (FRESH WHITE CHEESE) was sold to two distributors in Providence, Rhode Island. QUESO HEBRA (FRESH WHITE STRING CHEESE) was distributed to retail stores in Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York, and to one distributor in Providence, Rhode Island.

Zemco Industries, a Buffalo, N.Y., establishment, is recalling approximately 380,000 pounds of deli meat products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. These products were distributed to delicatessens where they were further processed into sandwiches.The packages also bear vendor number
"398412808" and the USDA mark of inspection. The meat products were
produced on various dates from June 18 to July 2, 2010, and have various
"Use By" dates ranging from August 20 to September 10, 2010. The
products were distributed nationwide to a single retail chain.

Moark, LLC, of Fontana, California, Recalls Shell Eggs Supplied From Hillandale Farms of Iowa
Moark, LLC, is voluntarily recalling specific lots of shell eggs produced by Hillandale Farms of Iowa and packaged by Moark, LLC, because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
Potentially affected eggs that were received by Moark total approximately 24,300 dozen. Moark repackaged the eggs for retail customers (under the brand names Albertsons, Yucaipa Valley, Farmer’s Gems and Mountain Dairy), as well as providing unbranded eggs to foodservice customers. Milton's Baking Recalls 24 oz. Multi-Grain Bread
Milton's Baking Company is recalling Milton's® Multi-Grain Bread which was distributed to locations in Northern and Central California, Arizona and Nevada because the loaves contain milk, an undeclared allergen.
This recall affects only Milton's® Multi-Grain Bread, 24oz, UPC 06541-92038 with the Plant Code 250 sold only in Northern and Central California, Arizona and Nevada. "All Best if Purchased By" dates through Aug 26 are included in the recall.
The product is sold in both single loaf 24 oz packages and in overwrapped double loaf packages. The plant code is printed on the front of the package under "Best if Purchased By" on the second line immediately after the date.
This product was sold in a variety of retail grocery and mass merchandise retailers in the areas of Northern and Central California, Arizona, and Nevada. Retailers began removing affected product from shelves as of Thursday, August 19, 2010. Starting Saturday, August 21, 2010, retailers in affected markets will carry Milton's Multi-Grain Bread 24oz, UPC 06541-92038, without milk.
The company said consumers may return affected product to the store where it was purchased for a full refund. Consumers should log onto Milton's website http://www.miltonsbaking.com/talk-to-us9 with additional questions or inquiries.

GloryBee Foods, Inc., of Eugene, Oregon is recalling Aunt Patty's brand 5 pound bags of Whole Raw Pistachios and 25 lb. boxes of Specialty Commodities brand Whole Raw Pistachios Kernels, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
The Whole Raw Pistachio Kernels were distributed in Oregon (Western to Central Oregon) and Washington (Western Washington) by direct delivery to retail stores and bakeries.
Whole Raw Pistachio Kernels were sold to GloryBee Foods, Inc. in 25 lb. boxes from Specialty Commodities, Inc. Labels on these boxes consist of "Packed for Specialty Commodities, Los Angeles, CA. 90010." The sides of the boxes are stamped in red with the lot number 32043.
GloryBee Foods, Inc. also re-packed these pistachios into 5 lb. bags (2.27 kg) labeled "Aunt Patty's Whole Raw Pistachios," lot number MG0017400, item number 16046., P/D 07/06/10, and UPC 0 30042 70040 8.

found in the manufacturing process of the puree. Because of this problem, there
is a possibility that the products could be contaminated with microorganisms or
other harmful substances.

– July 2010 to outlets in the following locations: AR, AK, CA, FL, KY, LA, ME,
MA, MD, NJ, NM, NY, NC, RI, TX, TN, and VA.
