The Florida Brewery, Inc. is recalling certain lots of Goya, Great Value, Hatuey, Mr. Special, Polar, Publix, Regal, and SuperMax brand non-alcoholic malta beverages packaged in 7-oz bottles because glass on the exterior of the bottles may break when the twist-off cap is removed from the bottle and can result in cuts to the mouth. 

The Goya, Great Value, Hatuey, Mr. Special, Polar, Publix, Regal, and SuperMax brand malta beverage lot codes being recalled are:

The Florida Brewery distributed the 7-oz Goya, Great Value, Hatuey, Mr. Special, Polar, Publix, Regal, and SuperMax brand malta beverages in Florida, Texas, Georgia, California and Puerto Rico during the period December 8, 2011 to February 1, 2012.

Consumers who are in possession of products with lot numbers listed above should return the product to the place of purchase. Consumers will receive either a full refund, product replacement, coupon or product credit.

• Shrink wrapped packages of various weights of "JANG CHUNG DONG HAN YANG KING JOAK BAL COOKED PORK HOCKS."

Walmart Recalls Cruller Bakery Pastries Due To Mislabeled Milk Allergen

Walmart recalled its eight-count packages of Cruller bakery pastries because the common name of milk was not listed following sodium caseinate, a milk derivative, on the ingredient label. 

The eight-count packaged bakery items affected by this recall have a UPC code of 787429847 which can be found on the box label. The items affected by this recall have expiration dates of on or before Feb. 9, 2012. The pastries can be recognized as a ring-shaped twisted sweet cake similar to a doughnut. The products were labeled and sold in Walmart store bakeries in Puerto Rico and all US states with the exception of Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Customers with questions about this recall may call the Walmart Customer Service at 1-800-Walmart (1-800-925-6278) or return the product to their nearest store for a full refund.

Whole Foods Market Recalls Pumpkin Bundt Cakes For Undeclared Allergens

Whole Foods Market is recalling its 3 ounce and 26 ounce Pumpkin Bundt Cakes because the products contain undeclared milk. 

The recalled Pumpkin Bundt Cakes were made in Whole Foods Market store bakeries and sold at stores in Fresno, Monterey, San Rafael, San Ramon and Santa Cruz.

The 3 ounce Pumpkin Bundt Cakes were sold from a service case or displayed in small, clear plastic clamshells marked with a scale label #21630100000. Expiration dates prior to Feb. 13, 2012 are affected.

The 26 ounce pumpkin bundt cakes were sold from a service case or displayed in plastic dome containers with the scale label #21637900000. Expiration dates prior to Feb. 13, 2012 are affected.

Consumers who have purchased either of the affected products from Whole Foods Market may return it to the store for a full refund.

Summit Import Corporation Issues Recall on Undeclared Eggs in Bin Bin Snow Rice Cracker 5.3oz Pack and Bin Bin Rice Cracker 15.8oz Bulk Pack

Summit Import Corp., at 100 Summit Place, Jersey City, New Jersey, is recalling Bin Bin Snow Rice Cracker 5.3oz Pack and Bin Bin Rice Cracker 15.8oz Bulk Pack because the affected products contain egg which are not declared on the label. 

The recalled Bin Bin Snow Rice Cracker, 5.3oz, UPC Code 8 852098700124 and Bin Bin Rice Cracker 15.8oz, Bulk Pack, UPC Code 8 8520098701510, both in plastic packaging, were distributed nationwide to Asian retail stores.

ZIP INTERNATIONAL GROUP LLC, 160 Raritan Center Parkway #6, Edison, NJ  08837 is expanding its recall of sliced herring fillet (forelka) 330 gram and 600 gram in plastic packaging due  to Listeria contamination. 

The recalled sliced herring fillet (forelka) 330 gram and 600 gram in plastic packaging includes best by date 5/18/2012 . The best by date is located on the round side of the packaging and was sold to retail grocery stores in New York State. 

Consumers who have purchased sliced herring fillet (forelka) should not consume it, but should return it to the place of purchase.

• 30-lb. boxes of "Harold Food Co. Grand Strand Deluxe Chicken Salad."

Each box has a "Sell By" date of 2/15/2012 and bears the establishment number "P-20479" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were sent to a distributor in South Carolina for further distribution to retail establishments in North Carolina and South Carolina. The chicken salad products may have been repackaged as sandwiches under a brand other than Harold Food Co. and no longer bear the identifying information listed above.

California Firm Recalls Prepared Sandwiches that Contain Hard-Cooked Eggs 

GH Foods CA, LLC was notified by their supplier that the eggs supplied to them were from Michael Foods, Inc, who recalled Hard-Cooked eggs due to potential contamination by Listeria monocytogenes.

GH Foods CA, LLC, Sacramento, California, is therefore recalling sandwiches, associated with the affected eggs, due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes.

The sandwiches affected by the recalled eggs from Michael Foods, Inc., were distributed in the state of California. Products were sold in Walgreens retail stores only.

The product is packaged in a cellophane wrapper and sold under the Delish brand. Products affected include the code dates listed below. Code dates are listed on the Principal Display Panel.

Greencore, USA – Cincinnati, Recalls Egg Salad Sandwiches with Brand Name Quick Café and Take Away Café  

Greencore, USA is recalling approximately 550 pounds of egg salad sandwiches.   

The sandwiches contain eggs manufactured by Michael Foods Inc that are the subject of a previous recall due to possible contamination with Listeria Monocytogenes.

The sandwich products were produced starting  Jan. 18, 2012 and then distributed to retail stores in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. The company has received no reports of illnesses associated with consumption of these products.

Wegmans Recalls Various Prepared Foods That Contain Hard-Cooked Eggs Produced by Michael Foods

Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. is recalling hard-cooked eggs, as well as prepared foods that contain hard-cooked eggs, sold between January 23 and February 1, 2012 because the eggs have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

This recall only affects purchases made at Wegmans’ Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Canandaigua, Newark, Geneva, Corning, Elmira, Geneseo, and  Hornell stores.  It came about as the result of a recent recall by Minnesota-based Michael Foods, Inc., which produces the cooked eggs at its Wakefield, Nebraska facility.

The following affected products sold in Wegmans prepared foods and deli departments are included in the recall:
Hard-Cooked Eggs (sold by the pound in prepared foods or as a choice on the Fresh Foods Bar)

Michael Foods Recalls Hard-Cooked Eggs Packed In Brine Sold In 10- And 25-Pound Pails  

Michael Foods, Inc. is recalling specific lot dates of hard-cooked eggs in brine sold in 10- and 25-pound pails for institutional use that were produced at its Wakefield, Nebraska facility because the product has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. 

The recalled eggs were purchased by food distributors and manufacturers located in 34 states (AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI, WV). The recall is limited to hard-cooked eggs in brine in 10- and 25-pound pails prodced at its Wakefield, Nebraska facility, which are labeled under six brand names (Columbia Valley Farms, GFS, Glenview Farms, Papetti’s, Silverbrook, Wholesome Farms) and bearing lot codes of 1 LOT 1350W through 1 LOT 2025W and expiration dates ranging from 1/30/2012 to 3/10/2012

Only lot codes immediately preceded by a “1” AND ending in a “W” are affected, please see the following example:
