Atico International USA Recalls 9-Foot Patio Umbrellas

Importer: Atico International USA Inc., of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Hazard: The umbrella poles contain paint with excessive levels of lead, which can cause adverse health effects if ingested by young children.

Description: These patio umbrellas have an opening size of 9-feet wide by 94.5-inches high. They are sold in the following solid colors: Tan, Red, Green, and Navy Blue.

Sold at: Longs Drug Stores nationwide from April 2006 through May 2006 for about $40.

Remedy: Stop using these umbrellas immediately and return it to the retailer for a full refund.
