Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. Announces Recall of Additional 2006 Snowmobiles
Product: Certain Model Year 2006 Ski-Doo REV500 SS, REV 600 HO, and REV 600 HO SDI Snowmobiles
Units: About 1,800
Manufacturer: Bombardier Recreational Products Inc., of Valcourt, Quebec.
Hazard: Cracks could appear in the starter ring gears allowing gear fragmentation at high speeds. The debris could act like projectiles and cause serious injury or death to riders or bystanders.
Description: The recall involves certain Ski-Doo Model Year 2006
REV500 SS, REV 600 HO, and REV 600 HO SDI snowmobiles. For a complete list of

What to Do: Registered owners of affected models have been sent direct notice of this recall. Consumers should stop using these snowmobiles immediately and contact a local Ski-Doo dealer to schedule an appointment for repair service.
